Foundational Gifts (Part 1)

Of the spiritual gifts listed in the New Testament, there are a number that are foundational for the Body of Christ. Among them are the gifts of "apostle" and "prophet." While they are still in operation today, they are not in operation IN THE SAME WAY, because a significant part of their New Testament day work was the enscripturation of God's "Thus saith the Lord" instruction for the church. Anything that minimizes or leads us away from the authority of the written Word of God is dangerous!
