What to Expect
  • What kind of church is MDBF?
    • We are a Baptist church, associated with Converge (formerly known as the Baptist General Conference).
  • Where are you located?
    • We are just over two miles north of Askov, Minnesota on Highway 23. 
  • When do you meet?
    • Throughout the school year, Sunday school for all ages is held at 9:00 and our worship service starts at 10:30.
    • During the summer we meet at 10am.

  • What is your service like?
    • We start with praise and worship music.
    • We share announcements and prayer requests.
    • We pray and receive an offering.
    • We hear a sermon.
    • We often linger for fellowship after the Sunday service. Sometimes we share a fellowship meal, which visitors are welcome to attend.
  • What is your worship music like?
    • We sing a mix of hymns and contemporary songs.
    • The first Sunday of each month is "Hymn Sunday".
  • What do you have for the kids?
    • Nursery help is available during Sunday services.
    • During the school year, we have Sunday school classes for all ages.
    • VBS will be held later this summer.
    • FlipSide Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30.
  • What should I wear?
    • You will fit in whether you choose to dress up or keep it casual.
